Hosta 'Cameo' is a miniature Plantain Lily that forms compact mounds of small, rounded heart-shaped green leaves with creamy white margins. 'Cameo' has purple blooms on 12" stems in early summer. This showy little Hosta is great for troughs, fairy gardens and mixed containers.
Hosta 'Cameo' prefers partial to full shade and moist, humus-rich, well-drained soil. Hosta will grow in ordinary garden soil and withstand drought, but they are most beautiful when provided consistent moisture. They will tolerate clay soil and can be grown under black walnut trees.
Plantain Lily are classic perennial shade garden plants that will also grow well in containers.
